The Challenge
Stagecoach Group, one of the UK’s leading transport firms, wanted to deploy approximately 1,500 new tablets and software to enable its engineering team to deliver improved support to their fleet of over 8,000 buses and vehicles.
However, with internal IT resources already allocated to high-priority projects and their people and assets spread over large numbers of depots in every region of the UK, Stagecoach was facing significant challenges to ensure the device roll-out programme was completed effectively and on-time.
The Solution
Stagecoach approached long-term partner Utelize to understand how they could overcome resource constraints and reduce capital expenditure for their tablet project.
